Let me take you through a simple walkthrough on how to complete the Gameshow side mission from Split Fiction.
Through the fantasy lands of Chapter 3, Zoe lets you break the tension by stirring the pot a bit. Dive into this fun mini-gameshow event as the game host throws challenge after challenge to test your grit, skills, and will.
As soon as Zoe returns to normal, you and your buddy will continue along the path. There are no requirements for transformations until the portal to the side mission. Begin by grappling onto the bridge and running across it. Keep running forward toward the left side and jump onto the wooden ledge from the edge.
Continue to run to the other side. Next up is a short wall run, followed by making your way across the pit by jumping across a series of ledges. Another wall run, accompanied by a grapple hook, and you reach the glowing orb. Once you interact with it, you will teleport to the gameshow.
After a brief cutscene, adorned with new futuristic clothes, you are tasked with completing the gameshow by surviving. After running past the long glass bridge, the gameshow host announces the first game.
Bomb Toss – Stage 1
The rules of the first game imply that both you and your buddy must promptly toss the bomb to one another. Holding onto the bomb for too long will result in it exploding, killing you both instantly.
With each passing stage, the game gets tougher. In the first stage, both players need to run across the glass bridge while passing the bomb without dropping it. Once you reach the other side of the bridge, you simply have to drop the bomb into the container.
Bomb Toss – Stage 2
The second stage brings up a huge glass window between the two of you. There are green circular jump pads on your path, shooting you up into the sky, high enough to pass the bomb to each other. Same as the first stage, once you reach the end, you drop the bomb into the container.
Bomb Toss – Stage 3
The third stage of this round amplifies the difficulty by a significant margin. Now, certain glass slabs of the bridge start shifting, creating barriers between the two of you. So make the first dash, and as soon as you reach the shifting slab, pass the bomb.
Quickly make your respective turns, wait for the fire to run out, move across, and quickly pass the bomb again. Jump across the gap, run forward, and make the next pass just before the next block between you two. Run across the blocks, make the final pass, and drop the bomb into the container.
Boss Toss – Stage 4
The game host is now noticeably triggered by your consecutive successful finishes. She sets up a fourth round where a robo car is programmed to follow whichever of you is holding the bomb at that time.
This stage is relatively easier than the third stage. As soon as the robo car is close to you, jump and pass the bomb. Do this three times, and you will reach the container where you can drop the bomb with ease.
Bomb Toss – Stage 5
The game host visibly malfunctions as she sets up the fifth round. There are moving tiles with arrows indicating the direction they are headed. Take your time and follow the tiles until the first jump.
Make the pass and immediately jump across the fire using the circular jump pad. Make the pass as soon as you land. Follow the tiles, jump toward the container, and drop the bomb in the hole.
Bomb Toss – Stage 6
The game host has now completely lost it. Both of you are now tasked with bombing the game host. Make your way across the first set of tiles. Head toward your respective directions and time your jump so as not to get burned.
Make a bomb toss here to give yourself enough time. The next set of tiles moves upward and downward. Make your way all the way up to the tile at the very top. Use the circular jump pad to land on top of the game host. You will see an option to interact with a latch on its head. Open the latch and drop the bomb.
The moment you drop the bomb, a cutscene triggers. Both of your characters will jump off before the bomb explodes, dropping straight into a portal, teleporting them back into the Underlands.
