Split Fiction’s Chapter Six is full of surprises. Here’s the walkthrough of the Execution Area Mission in Split Fiction.
The newly released Hazelight Studios blockbuster Split Fiction introduces the players to its experimental world. From a Hydration Facility to Miraculous platforming, the sixth chapter of the game includes many surreal environments.
One of the major areas in this chapter is the Execution Area, putting the players into a devastating yet breathtaking boss fight against a giant robot. Here’s how you can get through the Execution Area by defeating -exe-QT-3.14.
When Does the Execution Area Mission Start?
To initiate the Execution Area in Chapter Six, the players must go through the Hydration Facility and complete the pinball-inspired level. Completing it will lead Mio and Zoe into a chamber.
Once you’re in the chamber, you will have to defeat a giant robot boss.
How To Defeat .Exe-QT-3.14?
In the Execution Area, Mio and Zoe will go toe to toe with a boss named -Exe-QT-3.14. The first phase will only require you and your partner to dodge through the robot’s attacks.
After dodging through the progressing waves of Sawblades, detachable arms, missiles, and a flamethrower, the robot will eventually destroy the platform. However, Mio and Zoe will reunite with their nanobots before the robot succeeds, allowing both players to finally defeat the boss.
Dodge the incoming fist smash, which opens up the robot’s hull where Zoe can attack (green prompts are for Zoe, purple prompts are for Mio). This will ultimately detach the robot’s fist, and Mio can lift it to smash the robot’s face multiple times.
This will send the robot into a rage and trigger a sequence of attacks where you and your partner must dodge them. After the robot’s rage ends, the fist-smash situation will repeat, allowing Mio and Zoe to punch the robot’s face again.
Now with both arms gone, the robot will use its engine and lasers to attack; they’re easy to evade. It will exhaust its energy, and ultimately, Mio can use her powers to decapitate the robot to end its reign. The robot’s body will fall on the platform and drop Mio and Zoe into a tunnel, leading them to the next mission of Chapter Six.
