Also known as the GDF, they are an international military alliance. Following the aftermath of the Third World War, the surviving governments came together to form the Global Defense Force. What Is the Global Defense Faction in Tempest Rising
The Global Defense Force is Earth’s greatest military organization by the year 1997. They rely heavily on advanced communication technology to stay a step ahead of their foes. The GDF balances the allocation of resources among the military, exploration, and research teams. They pride themselves on being the global peacemakers. When the situation calls for it, they engage in deadly and effective strikes.
While encountering certain threats mid-battle, the GDF forces mark enemy troops and enable the SyComm system to collect metric data on their tactics. This data is processed quickly, allowing the commander to call in the appropriate response for the emerging threat. They also use an advanced military intelligence computer system, known as the “Synthesized Command Operations,” to collect important data that helps assess potential threats and outcomes.
Finally, the GDF makes use of targeting computers to lock onto enemies and launch high-precision strikes from a significant distance.

This faction primarily relies on quick mobility and positional combat. Compared to the other two factions, the GDF has superior networking and communication technology.
