Order Initiate Scavenger Hunt riddle is a puzzle in The Outer Worlds 2 that requires a lot of brainstorming. You can find this puzzle in the Alexandra Monastery Observatory on Golden Ridge. Solving this puzzle will grant access to a hidden door with worthwhile rewards behind it.
You will encounter the observatory first as you are completing the On the Trail of the Traitor mission. Once inside, head to the room with a planetary system on the door. It takes a lot of backtracking to find a solution, which can have you running in circles for a long time. How To Solve the Order Initiate Scavenger Hunt Riddle
To solve this puzzle, you need to decipher the riddle mentioned in a note inside the room. Next, you have to enter a numbered password using dials on the observatory device. To find the password, you have to figure out the following questions by observing a nearby orrery:
- How many moons orbit Elysium?
- How many moons are there between Dorado and Elysium?
- How many times does Eden orbit Elysium before Praetor and Cloister complete a single rotation?
By observing the orrery in the courtyard, you’ll notice that Elysium is the grey coloured planet, with four moons rotating around it. Next is Dorado. This is the red planet adjacent to Elysium, which has similar revolutions but different satellites. If you closely study their movements, you’ll figure out that there is only one moon between Dorado and Elysium.
Lastly, to solve the final piece of the puzzle, you first have to spot Praetor, Cloister, and Eden in the orrery. Praetor and Cloister are the twin planets, whereas Eden is the green moon revolving around Elysium. By observing their movements, you’ll see Eden orbiting Elysium only once before Praetor and Cloister complete a rotation.
Therefore, 4 is the answer to the first dial, 1 for the second, and 4 again for the third. This gives us our final code to the Order Initiate Scavenger Hunt riddle as 414.
