NCSoft’s MMORPG Throne and Liberty, recently launched in the global market. The MMO offers various activities for players, including guild-based PvP events, co-op dungeons, and exciting story campaign codex quests. Additionally, there are some events that most players are unaware of. While some event tasks are simple and straightforward, others are tied to the Dynamic Events and look complex.

One such quest is the Return of the Age of Wolves side quest, as it ties in with the Peace Dynamic Event ‘Wolf Hunting Contest’. You need to understand how the Wolf Hunting Contest event actually works in order to complete the Return of the Age of Wolves without any trouble. Check out our guide to know everything about the Wolf Hunting Contest Event.

Here is a quick overview of the event. The Wolf Hunting Contest Event, which takes place in Blackhowl Plains, requires the players to slay some wolves and deliver the wolf tails at the turn-in points called campsites. Over a period of time, two out of the three campsites will get locked, and the remaining final campsite will act as the delivery point for the rest of the event. Now let’s move on to the Return of the Age of Wolves Quest.

How to Start the Return of the Age of Wolves Quest?

The Return of the Age of Wolves Quest will tag along on your quest list once you enter the Blackhowl Plains. In case you’re wondering why you can’t progress in the quest, it’s because the quest ties in with the dynamic event. So you need to wait till the event becomes active. You can check the scheduled Dynamic Events and their time for a particular region by opening the map and selecting the event schedule or by simply clicking on the Schedule button next to your mini-map. The Wolf Hunting Contest Event is one of the easiest Dynamic Events in Throne and Liberty and its recommended level is set between 8 and 11.

Get ready on Blackhowl Plains during the event time to participate in the Wolf Hunting Contest Event. Don’t leave the event zone till the end of the event. Dynamic events usually happen for 20 minutes. So you have 20 minutes to complete the tasks of both the Wolf Hunting Contest Event and the Return of the Age of Wolves quest.

The following are the objectives of the Return of the Age of Wolves quest:

  • Possess 30 Wolf Tails during Wolf hunting Contest
  • Deliver it to the Delivery Site during Wolf hunting Contest
  • Deliver it to the last delivery location for the Wolf hunting Contest

During the event, a large number of wolves spawn throughout the event zone. Kill them and get the Wolf Tail item. Collect 30 wolf tails and deliver them to any campsite to strike out the first two objectives of the quest.

Here is the trickier part, two campsites will get locked during the event as already mentioned – one with 9 minutes left and the other with 4 minutes. So you need to wait until the last 4 minutes for the final campsite reveal. Deliver at least one wolf tail at the final campsite to strike out the third objective, and hence you complete the Return of the Age of Wolves quest.

You will receive Basic Materials Chests, Active Skill Growth Books, and Quality Armor Growthstones as rewards for the Return of the Age of Wolves.
