Discover which EA Sports classics are leaving Game Pass Ultimate in February 2025. Dive in now before they disappear for good!
Two big EA Sports titles are making their exit from Xbox Game Pass Ultimate soon. Madden NFL 23 and F1 22 will leave the library in February 2025. Their departure marks the end of an era for fans of these legacy games. If you haven’t played them yet, now is your last chance. Both games have already been delisted from digital stores.
Once they’re gone, physical copies will be your only option. This is the perfect moment to revisit these titles before they disappear. Whether you’re chasing achievements or enjoying the gameplay, time is ticking. February will be here before you know it. Don’t let these classics slip away unnoticed.
Why These EA Sports Titles Are Leaving Game Pass Ultimate
While we find their removals disappointing, we do not consider them entirely unexpected. Newer versions, such as Madden NFL 25 and F1 23, have succeeded both games. This shift allows EA to focus resources on its latest releases while ensuring the Game Pass library stays fresh with new titles.
First, Madden NFL 23 will exit Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play on February 15, 2025. This football classic has already been delisted from the Xbox Store, so digital copies are no longer available for purchase. If you’re an achievement hunter, unlocking all achievements in Madden NFL 23 takes about 80 to 100 hours.
Fortunately, with a little dedication, there’s still time to complete its 1,000G before it’s gone. However, both the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One versions will vanish, making a physical copy your only option after February 15.
Following shortly after, F1 22 will be removed on February 28, 2025. Racing fans may find this even more bittersweet since one of its achievements is already discontinued, capping its attainable Gamerscore at 985G. Like Madden NFL 23, Microsoft has also delisted F1 22 from the Microsoft Store. If you’re still eager to enjoy this Formula 1 experience, you’ll need to grab a disc copy once it’s no longer available on Game Pass.
For players still planning to dive in, this is your final call. Time is running out to enjoy these games as part of your subscription. After February, they’ll be part of gaming history, accessible only through physical copies or previous downloads. Don’t wait—revisit these classics while you can!
