Discover the patch notes for the EAFC 25 May update. Get the details on Spotify integration, the Premium Pass, and more.

EA Sports just dropped a new patch for EAFC 25, and while it might seem like a routine update, it carries more weight than you’d think. Title Update 14.1 focuses on smoothing out the Spotify integration, a feature that’s still being tested in Australia and Saudi Arabia.
The patch fixes two specific bugs on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, one where the Spotify widget refused to show up in Manager and Tournament modes, and another where the in-game music simply wouldn’t play. It’s a small fix, but one that reinforces EA’s push toward more immersive audio experiences and cross-platform consistency as the season rolls on.
EAFC 25 May 2025 Patch Notes
The May 2025 update for EAFC 25 titled Update 14.1 is now live for most platforms, including PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. This patch targets a few small but disruptive issues, mainly tied to EA’s new Spotify integration. While the feature is still limited to players in Australia and Saudi Arabia, the fixes improve how it functions on supported consoles. If you’re on Nintendo Switch, you’ll have to wait a little longer, as the update hasn’t rolled out there yet.
Title Update #14.1 will soon be available for EA SPORTS FC 25 on PS5, XBSX|S, PC, PS4, and XB1.

Here’s what Title Update 14.1 includes:
- Fixed an issue where the Spotify widget did not appear in Manager and Tournament modes (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only)
- Resolved a bug causing music not to play correctly in those same modes (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only)
- Maintained cross-play compatibility for all other platforms
The Spotify feature currently offers music, podcasts, and audiobooks to Premium Spotify users within the game. EA says this is part of a broader strategy to support artists and enhance player immersion through dynamic audio.
Alongside this patch, EA is continuing its rollout of the Premium Pass, introduced on April 24. It costs 1,000 FC Points or 500,000 UT Coins and grants access to a range of exclusive content across all game modes. Highlights include tradeable player packs, themed bundles, and the highly sought-after Franck Ribery Immortal Icon card. Importantly, the free pass remains fully functional for all users.
EA has made it clear that they’re treating Spotify integration as an evolving feature, using feedback and technical patches to fine-tune it before a wider release. While it’s only available in select regions right now, further updates are likely on the horizon.
