It is an essential plot point in Mario and Luigi Brothership that the two brothers find the Airship Engine. Here is the complete path to it.

In Mario and Luigi Brothership, players are tasked with finding an airship engine to fit into the ship that Technikki is building. This scavenger hunt for ship parts brings you to Wayaway Island, where you try to find your way to the Airship Dock.

There are several blockades in the area and multiple optional fights that you have to look out for. Making your way up the Airship Dock is pretty easy. All you have to do is follow a simple path with little to no challenge.

Once you reach the top of the area where the dock is, head left into the giant door, and another glowing door at the end will lead you to the next location on the map.

On Your Way to Finding the Airship Engine

You will make your way to a warehouse. There are two ways to go from here: either head south towards the Delivery Entrance or north towards the Storage Room. We need to visit the latter.

There’s no point in heading north directly because first, you have a puzzle to solve. Keep going right until you find a Luigi stamp for him to stand on. Do exactly as expected—make him stand on the green stamp. Now, use Mario to solve the conveyor belt puzzle.

Head back to the entrance of the warehouse (where you came from), and a small steel gate will be open to the conveyor belts. These belts are now active, so keep their directions in mind. Jump onto the first conveyor belt. Ideally, you would just turn right here, but the way is blocked.

So, use the moving yellow platforms ahead to make your way to the second conveyor belt. Head right now and navigate through the incoming stacked gray boxes. Jump on the shortest stack and move over it while continuously moving forward.

You will eventually reach the end of this belt, which is blocked by yet another wall. Look south and use the yellow platforms here to go back to the first conveyor belt. Keep heading right, and a short, but elevated, conveyor belt will lead you towards a wall of spikes. Right in front of it, though, is a long yellow platform that you can use to reach the stable stone platform on the right.

Now, stand on the red stamp and watch as the iron gate closes between the two brothers. Let Luigi come to Mario’s side before proceeding.

The Latter Half of Finding the Airship Engine

Combine both plumbing brothers into a ball to reach the next location. There will be a string bridge that broadens and narrows. When it narrows, dash across it to reach the other side. This part is straightforward. Don’t turn back into your normal form yet.

Follow the conveyor belts to the left first, then head south. When you reach a point where you can make a U-turn onto the conveyors on the left, do so. The belts here will keep pushing you either left or right, but all you need to do is head north until you see the moving yellow platform again on the west end of the hall.

The platform moves north-south. Use it to climb the stairs attached to the north wall and enter the Storage Room at the end of the pathway. There are many optional fights here that you don’t need to engage in unless you wish to. Go left to take the stairs, leading you to the big door on the elevated platform.

Entering the door will bring you to the location where the Airship Engine is stored. It is a part of Bowser’s airship. Take the golden turtle shell and bring it back to Technikki.

Your tech-savvy friend will fix it to the new ship, and now everyone can reach Fortress Zokket.
