Manasteel in Throne and Liberty is a crucial crafting resource used for making Greatswords, armor, daggers, and much more.
Resource management and resource farming have been staples of MMORPGs for decades. Throne and Liberty sticks to the formula, offering plenty of resources to balance your various needs. Manasteel is one such resource required for crafting weapons. You will often find yourself short of Manasteel as you craft weapons in the early game. “A metal containing the power of nature. Used to craft Greatswords, Swords, Shields, Daggers, and Plate Armor,” the Manasteel description reads.
In this guide, we shall go over Manasteel locations, how to farm it, and the ideal farming spots for this crucial weapon crafting resource.
Manasteel Locations in Throne and Liberty
To see Manasteel locations, simply go to any of the weapon smiths on the map and interact with them. While on the crafting screen, look to the Crafting Material Tab and click on Manasteel → How to acquire → Gathering. This will display all the Manasteel locations on the map.
Manasteel can be found by mining moonstones scattered across Windmill Shores, Monolith Wastelands, Abandoned Stonemason Town and Daybreak Shore. Moonstones are the shiny black rocks that are hard to miss. A white rock icon on the map denotes the location of the crafting resource. Mine the rocks to get the Manasteel you desire. There are also Gigantic Moonstones that you may find that yield larger quantities of the crafting material.
You can also gather Manasteel by taking on any of the game’s available dungeons. Complete these dungeons to obtain Manasteel as one of the rewards. You can passively obtain the crafting material by undertaking Amitoi Expeditions in the Windmill Shores and Carmine Forest.
How to Farm Manasteel
You obtain Manasteel by mining the moonstones in Windmill Shores, Monolith Wastelands, Abandoned Stonemason Town and Daybreak Shore. We recommend picking Windmill Shores as it is a lower-level area and easier to explore without being punished.
Mine all the moonstones in Windmill Shores, and then make your way to the next area. Keep in mind that these moonstones are procedurally generated. They do not respawn. Make your way through the loop of areas shared above, mining moonstones in each to gather as many as you can. By the time you finish, new sets of moonstones will have generated in the areas, allowing you to run through the farm loop again.
