You can only find the Plasteel Microflora Fiber in spots like Shipwrecks and Great House ruins. Luckily, you can find a Shipwreck in the starting area, Hagga Basin South. You will find a Shipwreck area, Wreck of the Alcyon, east of Griffin’s Reach Tradepost. Inside the Wreck of the Alcyon region, you can loot multiple chests that contain Plasteel Microflora Fiber.

Look for chests that emit a bluish-green neon glow, which indicates whether they are looted or still available. As you progress forward from the entrance, you will find a blocked path. Use your scanner laser to destroy it. Inside, you will find a chest that contains Plasteel Microflora Fiber.

You can also acquire Plasteel Microflora Fiber by opening chests in the command room and the chest sitting on top of a purple neon light beside the Identification band. You can also revisit the area and loot these chests again, as they can respawn around 45 minutes later.
