The dynamic duo of Brian Trifon and Brian Lee White formed the group Finishing Move Inc. back in 2012. Since then, they have been a part of some of the greatest and most publicly acclaimed games. These include:

  1. Borderlands 3
  2. Halo: Combat Evolved
  3. Star Wars: Hunters
  4. The Callisto Protocol
  5. Spectre Divide
  6. Grounded
  7. Microsoft Flight Simulator

Along with the numerous accolades they have won over the years, they also won the ‘Best Original Instrumental’ award during the 2015 Game Audio Network Guild Awards for Halo 2 Anniversary.

This piece of information first saw light during the Gameplay Overview for Doom: The Dark Ages under the Xbox Developer Direct 2025, which took place back in January of 2025. Finishing Move Inc. is the award-winning team behind the soundtrack to accompany you during your epic adventures. You can expect some metal soundscapes, loaded with electric guitars, medieval vibes, and pure adrenaline.

Finishing Move Inc. has since then shared a couple of snippets involving what we can expect from the game. You are sure to get the right fuel with non-stop adrenaline as you march past and lay waste to those who dare to trespass on your path.

Where Is Mick Gordon?

Mick Gordon made a major contribution to Doom’s recent installments, including Doom in 2016 and Doom Eternal in 2020. Gordon had set a huge bar with the quality of soundtracks for Doom (2016). A dip in quality was immediately seen in Doom Eternal (2020), raising questions about Gordon’s work. Under a chain of blame games between Mick Gordon and id Software’s executive producer, a fallout between the two arose.

As per Gordon, a majority of the tracks were put together by id Software’s team. The team at id Software made a counterclaim, mentioning that Gordon did not meet deadlines. Bethesda gave support to id Software’s team, leading to the end of the relationship between the two.
