NotsoErudite, whose real name is Kyla, is a Canadian political commentator and streamer who frequently appears on Destiny’s streams.
Kyla, popularly known online as NotsoErudite, is a streamer and content creator who streams on Twitch, Kick, and YouTube. She collaborates with Steven “Destiny” as the co-host of the Bridges podcast. Kyla also frequently appears on Destiny’s streams for debates and discussions. Erudite boasts a following of 17.7K followers on Twitch, 2.2K followers on Kick, and over 49.9K subscribers on YouTube. The Bridges podcast channel has over 84.5K subscribers, where Erudite and Steven host various guests, including HealthyGamerGG.
Erudite recently shared her thoughts on the Destiny controversy. For context, Destiny was accused of sharing explicit images by Twitch streamer Pxie. Pxie has threatened legal action against Steven and stated that the pictures were shared without consent. Another popular Twitch streamer, Chaeiry, has accused Steven of filming an intimate moment between the two. Chaeiry also accused Destiny of sharing audio clips of her without consent. Commenting on both incidents, Kyla shared her statement on X.

What Did NotsoErudite Say in Response to Accusations Against Destiny?
In her statements on the controversy, Kyla has stated that her opinion is based on the information she currently has. Kyla shared multiple screenshots of conversations she had with Pxie. She stated that her involvement and her silence on the situation were at Pxie’s request. Kyla mentioned looking into the leaks for the concern of Pxie’s well-being and also mentioned that her greatest concern in the situation was Pxie’s well-being.
“I only ever looked into the leaks and reached out to Pxie because I was concerned for her well-being. After I spoke with Pxie in person she made clear her desire for me to bridge the gap between her and Steven and her desire for as little attention on the leaks or anything identifying her as possible. Both my involvement and my silence were at Pxie’s request. My greatest concern this whole time has been her well-being.”
NotsoErudite stated that she fought with Destiny and advocated with him to connect with Pxie for a conversation. She also mentioned that she privately investigated the matter and spoke to Pxie and Steven privately. She wrote that she never defended, supported, or minimized Destiny’s involvement in the matter. Kyla attached screenshots of her and Destiny’s conversations about Pxie in her statement as well.
“Upon learning of the leaks and Pxie’s potential involvement, I investigated privately, contacting Erin. I then spoke to Pxie and Steven in person, separately. I never defended, supported, or minimized Steven’s sharing of Pxie’s intimate images. Most of my conversations with Steven about this topic were in person and confrontational. I fought with him and advocated for reconnecting with Pxie.”
At the end of her statements, Erudite mentioned that she has paused the Bridges Podcast and will be evaluating business relations with Destiny. She stated that all further podcast releases and guests have been canceled. After asking Destiny for more information, he refused, citing legal involvement.
“I’ve paused Bridges releases, canceled guests, and will evaluate business relations as I learn more. I asked Steven for information, but he’s uncomfortable sharing due to legal involvement.”
