With the release delay for GTA 6, fans are curious whether this also means a PC port will arrive on the same day. Unfortunately, Rockstar Games has yet to confirm if that’s the case. What is confirmed is that the game will be released on consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

With that said, we can speculate whether GTA 6 will include a PC release on Day 1. After all, the game is delayed until 2026. That might be enough time for the developers to port the game to PC.

As much as we would like to hope that GTA 6 will include a PC port on Day 1, it is not likely to happen. Most modern games from Rockstar have experienced delays. GTA 4 and 5 were delayed for several months. Red Dead Redemption 2 was delayed three times.

Furthermore, these games were released only on console platforms at launch. It took a while before they received a PC release. At this point, it seems like a tradition for Rockstar Games to release the PC version after console players have had their fun. This means it’s most likely going to be the same for GTA 6 when it gets released on March 26, 2026.

If we take previous Grand Theft Auto titles into consideration, we might see a GTA 6 PC release after eight months to a full year. GTA 4 took around seven months before it got a PC port. Meanwhile, GTA 5 took around one and a half years for a PC version to arrive. It seems like Rockstar Games waits about a year before releasing its games on the next platform.

However, keep in mind that these are all just speculations. There is no official information regarding the PC release date of GTA 6. Only the console version’s release date is confirmed so far. This means you should take these speculations with a grain of salt.
