At any given time, your weapon will only be able to equip one discipline skill. These disciplines can further branch out, unlocking the true potential of these skills.

Sudden Strike

This is a discipline that converts your dodge or parry into a reactive clash, enabling quick counter moves along with restoring a portion of your health.

  1. Advance forward and strike during a revolving movement.
  2. Use this with Skyborn Might for greater potency.

Variant 1 ‘Sudden Strike’

  1. Sudden Strike gains Clash.
  2. A successful Clash grants you one stack of Skyborn Might.
    Clash: When you clash weapons with your enemies, you deflect any incoming damage.

Variant 2 ‘Sudden Strike’

Using the sudden strike with Skyborn Might, you will be able to expose your enemy’s vulnerabilities if it connects.

With Blade Dance, you will unlock a continuous series of smooth and fluid strikes while you revolve. This is great to help reduce the crowd surrounding you and build up Skyborn Might over multiple hits.

Description

  1. Revolve and launch strikes with both your blades.
  2. Use this skill with Skyborn Might for greater potency.

Variant 1 ‘Blade Dance’

  1. You will gain Clash when using Blade Dance.
  2. A successful Clash grants you one stack of Skyborn Might.
    Clash: When you clash weapons with your enemies, you deflect any incoming damage.

Variant 2 ‘Blade Dance’

While your madness is above 90%, Blade Dance will inflict a paralysis build-up and expose the vulnerability of your enemy even further when you use it with Skyborn Might.

Blademaster

With this discipline, your clash efficiency will boost, allowing you to effectively and reliably interrupt any enemy attack. Your survival chances increase in close-range battles.

Description

  1. You will gain the Bladeborn buff by using Skyborn Might.
  2. After performing a successful Clash during Bladeborn, some of your health is restored.
    Bladeborn: This will make your Dual Blades’ light attacks even faster.

Variant 1 ‘Blademaster’

This will increase the duration of the Bladeborn buff, which you gain from Blademaster

Variant 2 ‘Blademaster’

  1. The restoration effect will become more potent while your madness is above 90%.
    Clash: When you clash weapons with your enemies, you deflect any incoming damage.

Whirling Flurry

With the Whirling FLurry skill, you will unload a fierce set of spinning strikes, dealing damage in every direction. This will also help you gain Clash when you further enhance it and build up Skyborn Might if you interrupt your enemies mid-spin.

Description

  1. Using both blades, you can spin swiftly and strike hard.
  2. Use this with Skyborn Might for greater potency.

Variant 1 ‘Whirling Flurry’

  1. Whirling Flurry will gain you Clash.
  2. A successful Clash grants you one stack of Skyborn Might.
    Clash: When you clash weapons with your enemies, you deflect any incoming damage.

Variant 2 ‘Whirling Flurry’

When you are above a madness level of 90%, this move gets faster and usable in quick succession. This will also increase your resilience when you use it with Skyborn Might.

Shadow Lunge

Using Shadow Lunge, you can dash forward at a greater speed, piercing through any foe in your direct path. This is a great skill to use early in battle or for escaping high-pressure situations.

Description

  1. Brandish your blades with a quick forward lunge, which you will then follow up with a powerful thrust.
  2. Use this with Skyborn Might for greater potency.

Variant 1 ‘Spear Flurry’

  1. This will allow you to Shadow Lunge in a quick and successive manner.
  2. Every consecutive use will drain your stamina continuously.

Variant 2 ‘Spear Flurry’

  1. While your madness is above 90%, Shadow Lunge will inflict a poise break buildup when you use it with Skyborn Might.
