Wuchang Fallen Feathers nails a lot of things you expect a Soulslike game to get right. The bosses are top-notch, and so is the level design. The NPCs spout vague riddles at you, and death is around every corner. But one thing that the game nails perfectly is the relief you get from finding a shrine.

Shrines in Wuchang Fallen Feathers are the equivalent of bonfires in the Souls games. They act as checkpoints of sorts and are primarily a breather between areas. More importantly, they also help you level up and teleport around the map.

While most Souls games only had about 5 to 7 bonfires at most in any given area, Wuchang Fallen Feathers’ Worship’s Rise area has 12. If you’re unsure of where these shrines are or how to get to them, our guide is here to help.
