In the opening section of Wuchang Fallen Feathers, Bai Wuchang wakes up from a long sleep and finds herself in a cave. As you walk out of the room, you will see a white figure from the mist and leave their longsword on the ground. You will pick it up, and it will be your starter weapon for your journey. This item is called the Cloudfrost’s Edge, and it is not a bad way to start this new Soulslike adventure.

Each weapon scales your attributes and increases different attack damage. The best part about these weapons is their respective weapon skills. These are some of the best longswords you can use for this build:

  • Flamebringer
  • Cloudfrost’s Edge

As mentioned earlier, the Cloudfrost’s Edge is Bai Wuchang’s starter weapon in this story. This weapon scales both agility and strength, allowing you to deal fast and hard attacks on your foes. It comes with the Dash Strike weapon skill, which can come in handy for any occasion.

Alternatively, the Flamebringer is another decent option for fire-based damage. This weapon also scales both strength and agility. This longsword comes with the Infernal Firebrand weapon skill, which allows you to slice through enemies while lighting the blade on fire for additional burn damage.

While you can upgrade any weapon from the Impetus Repository menu, which can also reset your skills, there are other ways to increase the efficiency of your longswords. Jade Pendants can enhance your items and allow you to reap their benefits. These are some of the best Jade Pendants you should equip:

  • Eagle Pendant: Increases your stab attack power.
  • Tiger Pendant: Increases the efficiency of physical attacks.
  • Twin Infant Pendant: Focuses on stamina recovery.

Here are a few Benedictions you should consider using:

  • Bu: Skyborn Ward
  • Memory: Sheng – Skyborn Rejuvenation
  • Wisdom: Wei – Skyborn Might
