Multiplayer is a core component in all the Souls games, but does it also carry over to Wuchang Fallen Feathers?
The Soulslike genre has established itself well over the course of the last decade with games such as Lies of P, Lords of the Fallen, The Surge, The First Berzerker Khazan, and many more. The genre has established its own identity, and you expect certain features when you go into any of these games. You expect difficult bosses, intricate levels, desolate environments, and sometimes, multiplayer.
Wuchang Fallen Feathers incorporates most of these elements and excels at a good chunk of them with flying colors. What it does not do, however, is incorporate multiplayer. Wuchang Fallen Feathers does not have multiplayer. We shall discuss this in detail below.

Does Wuchang Fallen Feathers Have Seamless Co-op?
As stated earlier, Wuchang Fallen Feathers is a purely single-player experience and does not have any multiplayer elements. It does not have any co-op elements either. We tried searching for mods that could help us play the game in multiplayer. Seamless co-op mods are all the rage for Souls games lately, and we had hoped to find something of the kind for Wuchang Fallen Feathers. Unfortunately, no results showed up.
Wuchang Fallen Feathers’ lack of multiplayer modes is a bummer, as the world is exceptionally beautiful. We would have loved to experience Wuchang’s tale with a friend, taking on the game’s difficult bosses side by side.

While no multiplayer may be a bummer, it does allow Wuchang’s developers to put more focus on its single-player campaign. The game’s single-player experience is crisp and tightly paced, with no moment wasted. Some of the weapons, too, are brazenly OP. If the game had multiplayer, the weapons would have been nerfed to accommodate other players. Now, we can just live through the power fantasy freely while cruising through this beautiful world. You win some, you lose some.
