This article will go over all of the objectives you must complete to finish the Fang Yao questline in Wuchang Fallen Feathers.
Fang Yao is one of the many NPCs you can interact with in Wuchang Fallen Feathers. These NPCs can be spotted in various areas waiting for you to pass by. They will tell you a quick story and ask you to complete a side quest for them that will reward you with gear for your efforts.
In this article, we will be walking through all of the objectives for the Fang Yao optional quest and what you can get for completing it. Sometimes you can get more than gear for doing quests, such as additional lore to fill in the gaps.

Starting the Fang Yao Side Quest in Wuchang Fallen Feathers
While making your way through Cloudspire City, you can spot an enemy standing by a closed door. Take this enemy out and interact with the door to start a conversation with a terrified Fang Yao. They will then ask you for a favor to find the Shu Silk Scarf, an item that belongs to a loved one she hasn’t heard from for quite some time.
Head for Hillswatch to find the scarf and return it to her by the door at Cloudspire City. To acquire the Shu Silk Scarf, you must perform the Examine gesture on a small tombstone that will shine brightly. After you return the scarf, you can meet Fang Yao by the Shaft to continue her side quest.
Fighting the Perfect Bride
As you continue the story, you can spot Fang Yao sitting by the Shaft Shrine entrance. Speak to her, and she will mention her sister and point you in the direction of the Perfect Bride. You will have the option to help her out or ignore her request. It will be revealed that the next boss is the sister she mentioned beforehand.
This boss is fairly challenging, and we recommend that you take your time with this fight. Once you defeat the Perfect Bride, return to her at the entrance and finish the conversation. This will mark the end of this side quest, and you will receive your rewards.

You will receive armor pieces for completing this quest. These pieces have decent stats that can help improve your build for later encounters.
