Wuchang Fallen Feathers takes a page out of Dark Souls’ book when it comes to its progression and level design. Although the game is linear, it does offer multiple branching paths, both in its story and exploration. As you make your way through the game’s story, you will meet various NPCs, each offering their own quests, which ultimately culminate in the game’s ending. While Wuchang isn’t a particularly lengthy game, for a linear souls-like RPG, it’s got a lot of content, even for a single playthrough.
That said, the game doesn’t overstay its welcome. You can complete it well within 70-80 hours. Here’s everything you need to know about Wuchang Fallen Feathers’ completion times and how long it takes to beat for a regular playthrough.

For a regular playthrough, Wuchang Fallen Feathers takes roughly 25-30 hours. However, the game’s completion time is variable and depends on a lot of factors, including the amount of exploration you choose to do, boss retries, player skill, and more. In our case, the very first playthrough took roughly 40 hours. This falls perfectly in line with other modern souls-like RPGs such as Lies of P and Lords of the Fallen (2023), which also take roughly 35-40 hours for the first playthrough.
However, if you plan to go through everything the game has to offer, i.e., all endings, NPC quests, and more, Wuchang Fallen Feathers should easily last you more than 60 hours. Couple that with New Game+ and the robust build crafting system, and you can easily spend over 100 hours with the game.

Getting the Platinum trophy in Wuchang Fallen Feathers takes roughly 60-70 hours. However, it completely depends on the number of playthroughs you have to go through. There are a total of 5 endings in the game; however, only 4 of them have trophies assigned to them. Furthermore, all the endings can be reached via New Game+. Going through the game in NG+ can cut back some of the excess time that’s needed to reach certain endings. However, it will still take you more than 60 hours to get all the trophies in Wuchang.
