Gluttonous Monstrosity – Lu Hongliu is a very aggressive boss in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. In order to find this boss, head west of Shu Sanctum. Keep going in that direction until you pass the river. Look for a tree with a prompt, and after pressing the button, you will be able to create a bridge to connect Shu Sanctum and Luo Courtyard. The boss is located on the other side of the bridge.

How To Beat Gluttonous Monstrosity – Lu Hongliu
Here are some tips and tricks that will help you defeat this grotesque boss:
- Lu Hongliu is very aggressive, and if you create some distance between you and her, she will dash at you to deal damage. Therefore, dodging is the best way to counter her.
- There are two stages for this boss. During the first stage, she deals melee damage. However, in between those attacks, she spits a beam that deals corruption damage. In her second stage, she gets up on her feet randomly to do melee attacks.
- Your task is to dodge her attacks and deal damage from behind for maximum output.
- After firing the beam in the second stage, she tends to sit for a while, which might look like a good opportunity. However, do not attack her during this time, as she creates an explosion near her, hurting herself and possibly you.
- Even though Lu Hongliu is aggressive, she still has a weakness: fire. You can deal massive damage with the help of burn damage.
- After defeating Man-eating Dhatunga at Lightzen Temple, you unlock fire temperance. With the help of this mechanic, you can equip your weapon with the fire element. Use this method to shred this boss’s health.
- Moreover, you can acquire the Infernal Flames spell after defeating the fire-dancing humanoid. This spell will help you in this fight.
- Lastly, you can use items like fire pots and fiery flying daggers to deal additional damage.
