While you can fight bosses to get armor or buy it outright from merchants, this chest armor requires a mixture of both. The Bo Magus Dress can be purchased from Tao Qing; however, he will need more than Red Mercury. You must first deliver an item called the Magus’ Eyepiece, which can be collected from defeating Bo Magus.

This is a powerful boss, but not invincible. After winning the fight, you will receive the Magus’ Eyepiece as a reward. Return to Tao Qing and present the eyepiece, then you can browse through his merchandise. You can buy the Bo Magus Dress for 2,500 Red Mercury and buy the rest of the set if you have extra money to spare.
