You will find the Empyrean Greataxe near the Shu Sanctum atop a rooftop, guarded by a strong NPC. If you have reached Lu Hongliu’s boss fight arena and knocked down the tree that connects it to the Shu Sanctum, you will be able to reach this place very easily.
Follow these steps to find the Empyrean Greataxe in Wuchang Fallen Feathers:
- Teleport to the Shu Sanctum Shrine in Worship’s Rise, and head to the second floor.
- Take the tree trunk that connects to the Lu Hongliu boss fight arena.
- Cross the trunk and follow the path till you come at the junction with three paths. The right goes to Lu Hongliu, straight goes to some houses, and the left leads to an alley. Take the left path.
- Enter the first home on your left, and use the stairs to head to the second floor. You will have to kill one weak enemy here.
- Head to the balcony and climb the ladder to reach the roof.
- Turn right, and you should see a maddened monk with red, glowing eyes. Go to this NPC and defeat him.
- Look for a golden-colored glowing loot just on the other side of this roof, behind where the monk was standing.
- This loot is the Empyrean Greataxe, and you need to simply pick it up.
Next, simply head to your inventory and equip the Empyrean Greataxe to use it in Wuchang Fallen Feathers.

The Empyrean Greataxe in Wuchang Fallen Feathers has a unique skill called Empyrean Crash that is an offensive skill with high mobility. This skill allows you to jump up and then perform a plunging attack that deals a lot of damage. If you use this with Skyborn Might, the overall process is much faster, and the plunging attack is Fire imbued. Moreover, the jump also triggers Alacrity, which lets you dodge an incoming attack if you time it correctly.
