Everything you need to know about the Buddha Statue in Wuchang Fallen Feathers, including where to find it, and more.

Wuchang Fallen Feathers, much like any other souls-like RPG, has its fair share of environmental puzzles and storytelling elements. While the puzzles aren’t particularly difficult in this game, they do require you to be thorough with your exploration. One such puzzle involves finding a Buddha Statue. You essentially need the Buddha Statue to progress through the game’s main story.
However, apart from a vague dialogue from an NPC, the game does not give any direct hints about the statue’s location. If you’re thorough with your exploration of the nearby area, though, you can find the Buddha Statue quite easily.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Buddha Statue in Wuchang Fallen Feathers and where to find it.
Where To Find the Buddha Statue in Wuchang Fallen Feathers?

The Buddha Statue can be found near the Palace Hill Shrine, which is the same location where you need to use the item. After you’ve defeated the Reborn Treant – Soulwood main story boss, you will eventually make your way to Palace Hill, which is a junction connecting Doomwillow Beach and Shu Sanctuary.
As you explore Palace Hill, you will reach an area that houses a small temple. Facing the temple is a lake, which is also a boss arena. However, before you can access the boss fight, you will need to drain the water from the lake. This is where the Buddha Statue comes into play.
As for the Buddha Statue’s location, it is to the south of the Shrine. Here are the steps to get the Buddha Statue:
- Head south, and take the path to the left.
- You will find a trap laid over the area, leading to a bandit ambush.
- Defeat all the bandits in the area and proceed to the east.
- You will eventually reach the end of the area, where you will find the corpse of a woman.
- Near the corpse, you will find the Buddha Statue.
Once you have the Buddha Statue in your possession, head back to the Shrine and then to the mechanism to place the statue. Once you place the statue within the housing, it will activate a mechanism that drains the water from the lake, revealing a sword stuck within a piece of rock. If you head down to the sword’s location, it will trigger a cutscene and subsequently a boss fight against Commander – Honglan.
Is the Buddha Statue Mandatory for Progression?
Yes, getting the Buddha Statue and unlocking the boss fight against Commander – Honglan is mandatory for the main story progression in Wuchang. It is the final boss of the first arc of the game’s story. After you defeat Commander – Honglan, you will receive the key for the Reverent Temple. This will eventually lead you to a new part of Shu’s map and also the Ming General boss fight.
