Wuchang Fallen Feathers has a complex combat system, where you need to keep several things in mind. One of the more prominent factors includes a status effect called “Corruption,” which will deal damage over time. You can be afflicted with this status while exploring, fighting mobs, or even during boss fights (if they have that ability.)

As such, it is important that you remove Corruption from Wuchang as early as possible. Unfortunately, there is only one way to achieve this feat. In this article, we will explain how you can remove Corruption in Wuchang Fallen Feathers.

You must consume Purple Camellia to remove Corruption in Wuchang Fallen Feathers. This is the only item that can remove this status ailment. On the plus side, Purple Camellia is abundantly found in areas where Corruption is more prominent, like the Mercury Workshop.

At any given point, you can carry up to five Purple Camelia on your person, with the option to have 999 more in your inventory. If you have used up all five Purple Camelia, simply enter the dream at any Shrine. This will automatically replenish your Purple Camellia by transferring them from your inventory to your current items. Since Purple Camelila is a consumable item, you are vulnerable momentarily while using it to cure Corruption in Wuchang Fallen Feathers.

How to Get Purple Camellia in Wuchang Fallen Feathers?

You can get Purple Camelia from random loots in the open-world of Wuchang Fallen Feathers. As you explore an area, keep an eye out for the glowing drops on the ground. These often contain Purple Camelia, especially in regions where Corruption is more common.

Defeating some enemies also drops Purple Camelia, although this is a rare occurrence. You can also purchase Purple Camelia from Wu Gang for 160 Red Mercury.

Corruption is a status effect that does over-time damage to you in Wuchang Fallen Feathers. It is signified by a violet mist, and you gradually build this affliction when you are in such an area. Once Corruption has reached its maximum value, you will continuously lose chunks of your health every second.

Certain bosses like the Blightweaver Great Centipede have attacks that deal Corruption. Getting the full affliction during such fights can be fatal, since the bosses are heavy hitting.
