In this guide, we’ll explore how you can unlock the complete Tao Qing stock in Wuchang Fallen Feathers and purchase better items.
In Wuchang Fallen Feathers, you’ll meet up with Tao Qing, the merchant, in the very first region. More specifically, he’s at Shu’s Sanctum area, and he’ll have a few items to sell at the beginning. However, those aren’t his entire inventory. In fact, you can keep unlocking more stock as you continue to play through the game and take on challenging foes.
Besides unlocking a wide range of items to purchase from him, getting access to his complete stock will also earn you an Achievement/Trophy. So, without further ado, let’s find out what you need to do to unlock the full Tao Qing stock in Wuchang Fallen Feathers.
How To Unlock the Complete Tao Qing Stock in Wuchang Fallen Feathers
The good news is you don’t have to go out of your way or undertake some long-winded quest to unlock his stock. Unfortunately, the only way to do it is slowly over the course of the game. Every time you defeat a boss, you will receive an item from them. You have to hand over these items to Tao Qing to expand his inventory. In total, you will have to collect 17 of these upgrades before you can unlock his entire stock. That means traveling back to Shu’s Sanctum multiple times, even after you progress to the other maps in the game.
Besides the expanded inventory, every time you hand over one of the boss-dropped items to Tao Qing, he’ll provide a bit more context about the enemy you got that item from. So, if you’re simply interested in learning a bit more lore about the world, returning to Tao Qing after every major boss fight is a great idea.
One of the upgrades is locked behind a mini quest for the vendor. In it, you’ll have to get to the Annalum area and defeat the shield-wielding monster miniboss there. After that, you will have to retrieve the Scenic Painting item from the area and return it to Tao Qing.
