Upgrading weapons makes it easier to deal with enemies in Wuchang Fallen Feathers, but the system is a bit confusing.
Wuchang Fallen Feathers is a fairly challenging game. The enemies hit hard, and the mobs all around can easily rip into you. To make things worse, the game also leans heavily into environmental hazards, which can chip away at your HP and leave you ripe for the mobs.
To face and overcome all the challenges the game throws at you, you have to engage with all of the game’s mechanics. This is especially true for upgrading weapons, which becomes more and more important as you progress through the game.
The issue, however, is that the game doesn’t really tell you how to upgrade them. There’s no stoic blacksmith hacking away at an anvil or a merchant who would sell upgraded weapons to you. This begs the question: how do you upgrade weapons in Wuchang Fallen Feathers? Our article has the answer.

How To Upgrade Weapons in Wuchang Fallen Feathers
You upgrade weapons by using the Impetus Repository skill tree in Wuchang Fallen Feathers. This is the skill tree you use to upgrade your character and acquire other skills. As you may have noticed while using the skill tree, each weapon has its own section within the tree. As you invest points into a weapon, you unlock more and more of its skills.
Within a weapon’s tree, you’ll find the weapon mastery skill. This is the skill you need to unlock to upgrade your weapon. The skill’s icon is shaped like a star and is easy to spot, so you should plan your route to it efficiently.

That being said, if you invest in the axe mastery, it will only upgrade your axe weapons. If you wish to upgrade other weapons, you’ll have to unlock the weapon mastery for those weapons. Instead of grinding it out to upgrade another weapon, we recommend respecing whenever switching over to another weapon. Respecing is free, and you can easily upgrade whichever weapon you swap to.
