Wuchang Fallen Feathers has drawn a ton of comparisons to Dark Souls 1. Some compare the world design to be akin to the beloved FromSoftware title, with many having their own Firelink Shrine moment in the game. Others compare the combat to DS1, calling it slow, simple, and methodical. Slow and methodical the combat may be, but simple it is not.

Wuchang Fallen Feathers has a ton of depth in its combat. One look at the skill tree will show you tons of passive skills that affect how you approach combat. Alacrity is one such skill you may have seen while browsing the skill tree. You may have also seen the Alacrity skill mentioned in brackets in certain spell descriptions.

Since the game does a really poor job of explaining some of its skills, we’re here to do it in its stead. In this guide, we shall go over the Alacrity skill in Wuchang Fallen Feathers.

What Is the Alacrity Skill in Wuchang Fallen Feathers

Alacrity in Wuchang Fallen Feathers is a passive skill that allows you to evade attacks while casting spells. The passive skill basically grants invincibility frames to you while you cast spells. If an attack comes your way during the animation, Wuchang will disappear and dodge the attack automatically. Think of it like the Clash mechanic that some of the weapons have, but made exclusively for spells.

The Alacrity skill is one of the best skills in the game and is a must if you’re building your character around spells. The i-frames offered by the skill are a total lifesaver and are especially useful in the late game.

The more you progress through the game, the harder the bosses become. A lot of this difficulty comes from the amped up aggression of the bosses and the very few openings they offer. Alacrity allows you to take risks and still cast spells without fearing any punishment from these bosses.
