Everything you need to know about Benedictions in Wuchang Fallen Feathers, how to unlock it, best use cases in combat, and more.

Wuchang Fallen Feathers, much like any other traditional souls-like RPG, hides many systems behind its progression mechanic. While the base progression system in the game is fairly straightforward, several additional systems accompany it, opening up to players as they progress through the story. One such mechanic is the Benedictions system, which serves as an additional layer of weapon customization and passive perks. The Benedictions system is also among the few mechanics that the game doesn’t do a great job of explaining to the players.
However, much like the weapon combos and spells, Benedictions are a core part of Wuchang’s combat. In the latter parts of the game, Bendictions are often the deciding factor between a triumphant victory and a loss. Here’s everything you need to know about Benediction in Wuchang Fallen Feathers.
What Is Bendiction in Wuchang Fallen Feathers?

Accessible via a Shrine, Benediction is essentially another layer of weapon customization, the same as Discipline. However, instead of adding an active skill to your weapon of choice, Benediction adds passive boons. As you progress through Wuchang, you will unlock various Bendiction stones, which you can slot into your weapon of choice. Each of these Bendictions offers different passive perks such as increased attack power or increased Stamina Regeneration. Some of these Bendictions also nerf some of your stats, but grant a major buff at the same time.
If used correctly, Benedictions can make a major difference in combat. To equip Benedictions, you simply need to head to a Shrine and select the Benediction option. Do note that once equipped, Bendictions don’t carry over to other weapons. You have to manually assign Bendictions every time you switch your weapons.
How Do Benedictions Affect Combat in Wuchang Fallen Feathers?
Bendictions have a direct combat role, offering you flat stat buffs. Similar to the Jade Pendants, Benedictions have a major impact on your build. That said, some Benedictions will come with a passive debuff, which you need to be mindful of. You can stack effects offered by Bendictions and Jade Pendants. Furthermore, some of the Bendictions have specific set bonuses. If you equip all three Bendictions from the same set, you get an additional passive buff.
Do note that Benedictions can only be swapped around at a Shrine. We highly recommend checking your Bendictions and Jade Pendant loadout before heading to a boss fight, especially if you’ve switched weapons or attribute points.
