Wuchang Fallen Feather’s combat involves a plethora of different mechanics, each providing its unique advantage during battle. Like most other games in this genre, you can also use various supernatural abilities. Wuchang can get some rather unique special features, both via weapon skills and her spells.
Skyborn Might allows you to use special abilities like Spells and weapon actions like Disciplines in Wuchang Fallen Feathers. It is a resource that acts similarly to the conventional mana system, but this one acts as integer stacks instead of one full bar. What is Skyborn Might in Wuchang Fallen Feathers?
As mentioned earlier, Skyborn Might is a resource that allows you to use special abilities in Wuchang Fallen Feathers. You will need it to perform two of the most staple combat actions — Spells and Weapon abilities, including Disciplines.
Each Spell, Discipline, or weapon ability has its own Skyborn Might cost. In some cases, many of these abilities do not necessarily require Skyborn Might, although their potency is greatly increased when used with this stack.
At the start of the game, you will have only one available stack of Skyborn Might. You need to invest in the proper nodes in the Imperium Repository (skill tree) to unlock more charges. The bottom left of your HUD will feature feathers, which signify the Skyborn Might stack. The number of feathers signifies your maximum number of stacks.
As you fill each stack of Skyborn Might, the feathers fill up with color. The feathering on Wuchang’s arm also changes based on the amount of Skyborn Might that you have at a given point.
Using Spells or Disciplines depletes your Skyborn Might stacks based on their cost. As such, it is important you know how to easily maintain an uptime of this resource to be effective in battle.
How To Gain Skyborn Might in Wuchang Fallen Feathers
You can gain Skyborn Might using these methods in Wuchang Fallen Feathers:
- Hit enemies with your weapons – Each full combo restores some Skyborn Might. This ability can be enhanced from your weapon’s respective skill tree.
- Perform Shimmer – Shimmers or perfect dodges are the easiest way to gain Skyborn Might, especially during combat.
- Inflict status damage – When you deal status effect damage like burn, frostbite, corrosion, or others, you gradually gain Skyborn Might over time.
- Stand in front of a Shrine – Standing in front of a Shrine gradually replenishes your Skyborn Might at a slow pace.
- Gain over time – Wuchang will automatically gain Skyborn Might over time, although this is an extremely slow process.
Unlocking and upgrading certain nodes in your skill tree greatly improves your Skyborn Stack recovery rate. Make sure to thoroughly check your preferred weapon’s entire skill tree properly for any such improvements. In case you do not have enough Red Mercury to get one of these skills, you can also Respec in Wuchang Fallen Feathers to unlock a Skyborn Might boosting ability.
