How to Get the Boots of Arcane Bolstering in BG3?
To get the Boots of Arcane Bolstering in BG3, you must travel through the Shadow-Cursed Lands in Act 2 until you reach Moonrise Towers, where you can find the trader Araj Oblodra inside and purchase the boots from her.
Step 1- Safely Find Moonrise Towers
You can access the Shadow-Cursed Lands through two different routes. The first option involves using an elevator in the Grymforge, which takes you to the northernmost point. The second method requires taking the western fork in the Mountain Pass, leading to a more southeastern entry.
The Mountain Pass is the preferred route for reaching the Shadow-Cursed Lands and acquiring a Moonlantern. Travel alongside the convoy of Absolute cultists, and you’ll have the chance to obtain a Moonlantern from Kar’niss.
Step 2- Find Araj Oblodra at Moonrise
Kar’niss will vouch for you with the guards at Moonrise Towers if you sided with the cultists during the attack. Without Kar’niss you will have to lie or persuade the guards that you are with the Absolute.
After you pass the guards, head inside the main entrance and down the stairs. At the bottom is a large, entryway space. You’ll find Araj Oblodra by heading left/east once you’re inside. She is near the kitchen in a side room on the first level.
Furthermore, Araj has a couple of requests and dialogue trees before you can take a look at her items for sale. You can get a +2 increase to your Strength stat, though it will affect your relationship with Astarion negatively. Finally, once you have access to her store, you can purchase the Boots of Arcane Bolstering for 190 gold.
How to Use Boots of Arcane Bolstering in BG3?
The best way to use the Boots of Arcane Bolstering in Baldur’s Gate 3 is to equip them to a spellcasting class or build such as Sorcerer or Wizard. The difficulty with these boots is that you will have to sacrifice an Action to Dash, which is how you trigger the Arcane Charge condition. Moreover, because the Arcane Charge only lasts for two turns, you’ll only get one full use out of it. However, you can offset this by drinking a Potion of Speed or casting the Haste spell before battle.
