Redrawing rooms is one of the crucial mechanics in Blue Prince, allowing you to reroll new floorplans during your runs.

Every time you draft rooms to fill your layout, three floorplan options are presented before you. While these options can sometimes provide the best room combinations, you will often find yourself with unfavorable choices. That’s where the redraw feature comes in. It allows you to reroll the initial floorplans and replace them with three new ones.
This proves useful in many ways, whether you are avoiding red rooms or targeting any specific room. Moreover, this also prevents you from having dead ends. If you are unsure how to redraw rooms while drafting in Blue Prince, this guide has got you covered.

Different Methods To Redraw Floorplans in Blue Prince
Fortunately, there are several methods to redraw floorplans or rooms if you are not satisfied with the initial set of options. Let’s break down each one:
Ivory Dice
As you might have guessed, Ivory Dice is the primary source of redrawing or rerolling floorplans. They allow you to reroll new floor plans while drafting by using one Ivory Dice. These Dices are commonly found inside the Attic, Closet, and Walk-in Closet, or by opening the locked trunks.
You can also obtain them by exchanging your items at the Trading Post. Moreover, certain room upgrades—like those for the Boudoir and the Guest Bedroom—increase your chances of obtaining Ivory Dice. Conducting experiments in the Laboratory is another effective way to get them.
Study
If you are short on Ivory Dice but have spare Gems, the Study is the best alternative. Drafting the Study allows you to redraw your floorplans up to 8 times on the current run. However, this method consumes Gems instead of Ivory Dice to redraw.
Drawing Room

You can also redraw new floorplans while drafting inside the Drawing Room. The Drawing Room has three doors and you can freely reroll the floorplans when drafting a room from its other two doors.
Red Paper Crown
The Red Paper Crown is a valuable item that lets you redraw the floorplans while drafting, if there are no red rooms. However, obtaining the Red Paper Crown is challenging, as it requires you to pull off a heist-like task at the Closed Exhibit.
Inkwell Constellation

Unlike the above methods, this one takes a lot of days. First, you need to obtain 50 stars. You can obtain stars by drafting the Observatory, conducting experiments, or using the Morningstar from the Armory. Once you have 50 stairs, using the Telescope at the Observatory reveals a new constellation called ‘Inkwel’. With the constellation active, you can use stars to redraw floorplans.
