PvE – The Swarm God Roll
Barrel | Arrowhead Brake |
Magazine | Flared Magwell |
Perk 1 | Dynamic Sway Reduction |
Perk 2 | Target Lock |
Origin Trait | Vanguard’s Vindication |
Masterwork | Reload |
Mod | Boss Spec |
Barrel: For the barrel perk, we are going with Arrowhead Break. This will give you better recoil direction giving you a better opportunity to land back to back shots this is incredibly important with our damage perk choice.
Magazine: With the magazine we are going to improve the weapons reload speed and stability by choosing Flared Magwell. This will help us reload faster and give us less recoil so that we can remain on target easier.
Column 3 Perk: For our third perk we are going with Dynamic Sway Reduction because this gives us a stacking accuracy and stability boost the longer we hold down the trigger. This allows us to stay on target easier making sure we keep up our damage perk.
Column 4 Perk: For our final perk, we are going with a fantastic perk for machine guns called Target Lock. Continuously hitting a target without missing a shot gives a five times stacking damage buff depending upon how much of the mag you hit the target with.
Masterwork: For our masterwork, we are going with reload as it gives a small boost in our reload speed. This will allow us to reload faster and get us back into dps as fast as we can.
Mod: Boss spec is the only option here. This is a boss dps weapon so we want to give a mod that increases our boss damage.
Conclusion: Machine guns in general are great ad clear weapons with solid boss dps. This machine guns is no different with a very strong boss damage perk and good damage. The Swarm isn’t going to win an damage competitions but its ability to do multiple things well is its best trait.
PvP – The Swarm God Roll
Barrel | Arrowhead Brake |
Magazine | Accurized Rounds |
Perk 1 | Dynamic Sway Reduction |
Perk 2 | Tap The Trigger |
Origin Trait | Vanguard’s Vindication |
Masterwork | Handling |
Mod | Targeting Adjuster |
Barrel: For the barrel perk, we are going with Arrowhead Break. This will give you better recoil direction giving you a better opportunity to land back to back shots this is incredibly important for making sure you secure your kills.
Magazine: Accurized Rounds is a must have here. These give a large boost in range, letting the weapon hit the same at further ranges.
Column 3 Perk: For our third perk we are going with Dynamic Sway Reduction because this gives us a stacking accuracy and stability boost the longer we hold down the trigger. This gives us the best chance to land as many shots as possible.
Column 4 Perk: Lastly we are going with Tap The Trigger. This perk works by giving a massive boost in accuracy, recoil, and stability for a short duration after you pull the trigger making sure to help us land our first shots easily.
Masterwork: For the masterwork, handling is the obvious pick. We are already nearly able to max our stability and accuracy with our other perks so giving a small boost in being able to aim down sights and swap faster is a plus.
Mod: Targeting Adjuster is a great choice here. This gives a small boost in your aim assist making your bullets more likely to hit the target.
Conclusion: Machines guns have their use in PVP due to their ability to get multiple kills with one ammo pick up. They may not kill the fastest but they are incredibly accurate with the right perks and a fantastic heavy weapon to use to higher player count modes. The Swarm is no exception to this rule since it rolls with some great accuracy and consistency perks allowing us to land our shots easier.
