The new free-to-play MMORPG Throne and Liberty released worldwide on October 1, 2024. Many players wonder whether the game supports crossplay features or not. Cross-platform or Cross-play is a feature that allows players on various platforms to enjoy the game together in a single world. Does Throne And Liberty Have Crossplay?
Thankfully, Throne and Liberty, the new MMORPG that is creating a lot of hype, comes with cross-platform functionality. However, the cross-play option is disabled for users who select to play on “PS5 only” servers. PlayStation is the only platform has its own dedicated sever in the game. Currently, there is no option to disable the Cross-play feature.
Throne and Liberty feature PvP on a large scale giving you the freedom of connecting and playing with other players from various consoles such as Steam, Xbox X/S Series, and PS5 from all over the world. The game is primarily focused on Guild-based multiplayer combat, which requires you to join or create a Guild. As the crossplay is enabled, you can also play along with your friends and family. It is also worth noting that, if you want to play along with your friends or family, you need to be on the same server.
Is There Cross Progression in Throne and Liberty?
Another feature that players are curious about is cross-progression or cross-save. Unfortunately, Throne and Liberty does not allow cross-progression or cross-save at the time of writing this article. So, players cannot save and carry over their game data from one platform to another. So, if you level up your characters and acquire items while playing on one platform, that progress will not reflect on any other platform. If you start on another device, the game requires you to create a new character.
