The little Amitoi creatures are the Throne and Liberty version of pets, and you can collect a lot of them in this new MMO! Visually, they look like little knitted or crocheted animals that have been powered by a spirit of magic. However, they can come in all kinds of fun and fantastical forms. Their basic function is to help heal you with World Tree leaves and to fetch dropped loot within a certain radius.
You can only have one Amitoi at a time summoned and following you on your adventures. But there is another way that your other Amitoi can contribute to your success in the game! Read on below for our full explanation of the Amitoi House and Amitoi Expeditions in Throne and Liberty.
Amitoi House and Expeditions in Throne and Liberty
In Throne and Liberty, the Amitoi House is used as a base where you can send your Amitoi out on Expeditions to collect crafting, cooking, and other materials. However, the Amitoi House won’t be available to you right away when you first start the game. You will have to play through the main story quest until you reach Chapter 3, where you will receive a quest called “A Small But Mighty Companion”.
The simple directive here will be to speak to Adventurer Pro Percy next to the central fountain in the starting city of Kastleton. During this conversation, Percy will tell you all about Expeditions and direct you to visit the Amitoi House. Furthermore, when you’re done talking to him, the quest will be complete and Vagabond Percy will join your Amitoi group!
How to Enter Amitoi House in Throne and Liberty
To enter the Amitoi House in Throne and Liberty, click on the little Amitoi icon at the top right of your screen, just to the left of the mini-map. The Amitoi House is NOT a set location on a map that you can enter through a physical door. You can only get inside by teleportation magic.
Moreover, after you begin an expedition, you can look at the same icon to see the progress of an expedition. There will be a purple bar that goes all around the edge of the icon. The further around the purple bar is, the further along the expedition is.
Furthermore, if you want more specific details, you can also click on the icon. This will display the time left in the expedition, the region being explored, the amitoi on the team, and the possible rewards.
Finally, at the bottom of the small pop-up display, there will also be an ‘Amitoi House’ button that you can click to be transported to the location.
How to Exit Amitoi House in Throne and Liberty
To exit the Amitoi House in Throne and Liberty simply click on the ‘Exit’ icon button just below the mini-map in the upper right-hand portion of the screen. It can be confusing the very first time you come inside the Amitoi House. Even though there is a door, you cannot enter or exit using it.
Consequently, the only way to get inside or leave the Amitoi House is by using the icons to teleport.
How to Start Amitoi Expeditions in Throne and Liberty
To start an Amitoi Expedition, simply interact with the Amitoi Expedition map and a new screen will open showing regions of the world map, along with all of your available amitoi. The first time you start an expedition, only the Golden Rye Pastures region will be available. However, you can unlock other areas of both Laslan and Stonegard by completing expeditions. This will earn you Expedition EXP, which will increase your Expedition level.
Follow these steps to start a new Amitoi Expedition:
- Select a Region: All unlocked areas will have a Region icon, which will correspond to the types of rewards you can receive.
- Select an Amitoi Team: You can only choose one at first, but as you level your team will grow in size. Try to match the icon of the Region to the icon of your Amitoi as much as possible for more rewards!
- Set the Time: Amitoi Expeditions can last 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, or 8 hours. The longer an expedition lasts, the more possible rewards and the greater amount of EXP you will receive at the end.
How to Cancel an Amitoi Expedition in Throne and Liberty
If you wish to cancel an Amitoi Expedition in Throne and Liberty then you will need to enter the Amitoi House, interact with the Expedition Map, and then click the Cancel Expedition.
Moreover, you cannot cancel an Amitoi Expedition from any main menu screen or from the Amitoi icon at the top of the user interface. You must teleport inside the Amitoi House and use the map directly.

Q1: How do you collect Amitoi Expedition rewards?
Answer: Once an Expedition has been completed you must enter the Amitoi House and interact with the Expedition Map, and then click Collect Rewards at the bottom right of the screen. The rewards you receive will be in random amounts based on the materials that were available to find.

Answer: There is a possibility of collecting Abyssal Contract Tokens, Quality Mystwood, Quality Pure Gold, Quality Rune Leather, Quality Megathread, Quality Manasteel, Expedition Pouch, and Cooking Materials on Amitoi Expeditions. Not all items are available in every region, so look carefully at available rewards before you start an expedition.
