Blue Prince allows you to rewatch cutscenes by heading to the security room. Additionally, it also contains some security footage that tells you more about the game’s lore. It’s a handy feature that allows you to check for various information or clues you might have missed. Plus, if you’re a lore enthusiast, you’ll find some intriguing bits of backstory along the way.

How To Get the Security Code for the Security Room Terminal in Blue Prince

Before you can start rewatching cutscenes and CCTV Footage, you first need to find the code for the Security Room Terminal. There are a total of three hints that you can find in various other rooms in the game. 

The first hint is found in the Attic. You will need to watch the footage playing on the security room monitors for the secret code. The second hint is on a note located in the Reservoir. Piecing together the clues, you need to spell out the first letters of all the rooms playing in the middle screens. It should form the word “swansonghss” which is the Security Room Terminal password in Blue Prince.

You notice the password has a few extra letters, “HSS.” This can be an acronym for Some Security Surveillance, the name of the menu once you gain access to the terminal. Interestingly, it can also be an acronym for the main character’s uncle, who passed away and was the former owner of the mansion, Herbert S. Sinclair.

How To Rewatch Cutscenes and Security Footage in Blue Prince

Once you unlock the Security Room Terminal by inputting the password “swansonghss,” you can interact with it and access its features. This terminal allows you to access and rewatch various cutscenes in the game. Additionally, you can also watch security footage that contains a bit of in-game lore.

Some of the footage appears corrupted and unplayable, but others work just fine. There are some that go way back to 1987. If you want to watch the cutscenes you unlocked, head to the year 1993. In here, you can see the recent cutscenes in the game.
