Learn how to solve the Atelier Blueprints Maze in Blue Prince using color clues, room patterns, and hidden messages.

The Atelier Blueprints Maze in Blue Prince isn’t something you casually stumble into. It takes effort to access and even more focus to figure out. If you have made it this far, you have already cleared a lot of ground.
Steps To Solve the Atelier Blueprints Maze in Blue Prince
Getting Access to the Maze

First, certain things need to be in place. If you haven’t reclaimed the Throne Room or unsealed all the Blue Doors for good, you are not ready yet. Another vital step is solving the Coat of Arms Puzzle. That puzzle contains a message—Still Water. It’s more important than it seems at first glance.
You will need to draft the Secret Passage as an outer room. After that, collect the Still Water. This step is necessary to interact with the right bookshelf, the one that opens access to the Atelier Maze.
But if your day ends before you finish exploring, you will be forced out. You can go back in by redrafting the Secret Passage. Thankfully, you won’t have to repeat the Still Water task. If you suspect you will run out of steps, try closing the game without saving. Restart the day fresh with better planning.

What To Expect Inside
Once you are inside the maze, the layout can feel overwhelming. You are dealing with 45 rooms, each with small but important details. Look around. Every room includes three things: a unique painting pair, a Mora Jai box, and colored lanterns.
Each painting pair works like a riddle. Focus on the words they suggest—one letter will always be different. That single letter is your clue. Write it down.
The Mora Jai boxes aren’t just collectibles. Solve the puzzle in each one to receive a message. These notes form longer phrases when you gather them all.
Lanterns are another visual cue. Their colors will guide your movements once you understand what they represent.
Reading Between the Lines

The messages hidden in the paintings spell out a series of connected terms. You will come across a book called A Hidden Hue before entering the maze. It might seem cryptic, but it offers essential clues. One part of the text reads:
“From prism pristine, three paths convene.
Three lines of light. Three shades foreseen.
Three colors to count, a sum of eighteen.
But the one left hidden remains to be seen.”
This tells you two things. First, there are multiple color-coded routes through the maze. Second, one of them is false or incomplete. The number eighteen refers to a potential total when you follow a color path, but only three paths truly combine. The fourth is hidden and misleading.

Later, the words from Mora Jai boxes reveal a longer, disjointed phrase. Once you gather all the notes, you get these message fragments:
- THROUGH LANTERN LIGHT IN SKETCHES
- CAST A TINT OF TRUTH
- TO FIND OUR PATH A
- HUE OF WISDOM TO TURN
- US RIGHT A SHADE OF
- RAIN TO PASS THE LIGHT
- THROUGH LANTERN LIGHT IN SHADOWS
- PAST WE SEEK WHAT’S LEFT
- OF THE LIES WE CAST
Each line corresponds to both a direction and a color. Here’s how to decode them:
- Tint of truth refers to blue.
- Blue lantern: Start point. Only one exists.
- Hue of wisdom to turn us right points to orange.
- Orange lantern: Turn right.
- We seek what’s left of the lies we cast links to red.
- Red lantern: Turn left.
- Shade of rain to pass the light suggests violet.
- Violet lantern: Go straight ahead.
These directions must be followed exactly. Otherwise, you will end up at a dead end or face a locked moon door with a message that you have chosen the wrong path.
Correct Route Through the Maze

Now for the part where you need to keep your focus sharp. Follow these steps in this exact order:
- Begin at the blue lantern. That’s your starting point.
- Walk into the Pantry. Once you exit, turn left. There’s a red lantern here.
- You will soon find an orange lantern. Turn right into the Gallery.
- Upon leaving, another orange lantern tells you to turn right again.
- Enter the Library next. Then exit and look up—there’s a red lantern. Turn left.
- Keep left again to reach the Observatory.
- After stepping out, go straight through the Music Room. A violet lantern signals this.
- See two orange lanterns back to back? Turn right both times. You will end up in the Ballroom.
- Go forward through the Spare Room. Another violet lantern above confirms this.
- Exit and find a red lantern. Turn left.
- More violet lanterns will appear. Keep walking straight.
- The last red lantern points you toward something strange. On your left is not the Falcon—it’s a new version of Room 46.
Miss even one of these steps, and that final blueprint room won’t appear. Instead, you will face a blank wall.
What You Find at the End
Room 46, in its altered form, holds the final piece. Inside is a will, part of the game’s deeper story and a Mora Jai box. When you solve it, the card inside says “BLUE.”
