On your journey to uncover the secrets of the Mt. Holly estate, you will encounter different tools and items. While regular keys allow you to unlock locked doors, the game also contains several special keys like the Silver Key, Vault Keys, and Master Key. Among these, the Prism Key stands out due to its incredibly useful effect. It allows you to draw a room with a specific color type of your choice, similar to how the Secret Passage functions. Where To Find the Prism Key in Blue Prince?
The Prism Key is a rare item that appears only in certain rooms. The Music Room has a high chance of offering a Prism Key, as it always contains one Major Key along with one Minor Key. Apart from the Music Room, the Prism Key may also rarely appear in the Attic and the Lost and Found. You can also trade your key items at the Trading Post in exchange for a Prism Key if it is listed there.

How To Use the Prism Key in Blue Prince
The Prism Key is a special key that allows you to draw a room with a color of your choosing. If you use the key on locked doors in the Green Room, Hallway, Bedroom, Red Room, or Shop, the resulting floor plans will match the color of your current room. However, the Prism Key doesn’t have any effect on blue rooms. For instance, unlocking a locked door with a Prism Key in a Foyer (orange) brings up Hallway-type rooms during drafting. This function is similar to how pulling different colored books from a Secret Passage affects the drafting options.
Interestingly, using the Prism Key on the locked doors at the Aquarium (or rooms with multiple colors) gives you the unique option to choose any color room to draw, since the Aquarium is a room of all colors.
