The Security terminal in Blue Prince lets you access more of the lore and puzzles of the game. From the passcode, you access the email network that connects to any other terminal you have used during the day. However, there are other advantages to knowing the terminal password too. The password stays the same forever, unlike other elements of the game.
While the security terminal helps you find items that are present on the map, it also has more secrets to show. Accessing the electronic mail helps you with lore and puzzle-solving, but it can be accessed only from the office. You can also order items in the commissary that you want through the security terminal. Typically, your items will take around 1-2 days to arrive at the commissary.
To get the passcode, you have to draft a security terminal or the commissary and find a magnifying glass. The magnifying glass item can be found in any room or you can buy it from the commissary.
The magnifying glass is the most helpful tool in the early game due to its heavy use in documents and puzzle solving. The glass will let you inspect any document in the manor closely. The Terminal Password is located on the board of the security room or the commissary. Without the magnifying glass, you won’t see the password on the documents. But with the help of the item, it’s much clearer.
After unlocking the terminal, you can access various extra features. The Terminal also unlocks the glossary that helps you understand what the terms in Blue Prince mean. You can order extra items in the commissary and access the emails that help you decipher the lore and puzzles. But, to access the e-mail, you have to draft an office room as well.
