In Blue Prince, the tools you collect serve as your trump card to make your progress across the Mt. Holly estate. But beyond the items, the rooms you draft can play a crucial role as well—as each room comes with unique effects. Understanding the effects of each room allows you to strategically plan your layout.
The Foyer is one such powerful room, providing a special effect to its associated room type, Hallways. Once a Foyer is drafted, it unlocks the doors of all Hallways, considerably making your run more convenient and easier.

How To Get Foyer Room in Blue Prince
Foyer is a Hallway-type room that comes with 2 doorways. Its unusual type rarity makes it a little less common when drawing floor plans. To increase your chances, you can also use Secret Passage to pick orange-coloured rooms, which greatly increases your chance of getting a Foyer in the draft pool.
However, you need to spend 2 gems to draft the Foyer in your layout. It is a long corridor that holds several bust sculptures placed within. One of the busts even provides a clue to unlock the Office safe. Upon drafting a Foyer, it unlocks all the doors of your Hallway rooms.
How To Use Foyer Room in Blue Prince
Hallway-type rooms serve as your connecting paths and create a route towards the different directions inside the manor. But finding yourself in front of locked Hallway doors is frustrating, especially if you don’t have keys or a lockpick kit with you. That’s where the Foyer comes in.
Drafting a Foyer can be a powerful yet strategic move in Blue Prince, unlocking the doors of the orange-coloured rooms (Hallways). Since most Hallways come with an average of 3-4 doors, the Foyer gives you free access to all of them. This can be highly effective if paired with the Great Hall, which has 7 locked doors.
Unlocking every door of the Great Hall consumes 7 keys unless you have the Foyer drafted in your layout. These doors contain useful resources, leading to three pathways, and even include an Antechamber Lever. You will also find an Upgrade Disk behind one of these Great Hall doors.
