  • Boost Skeleton: Gold (LV1, LV2, LV3)

These items are on the higher end, which justifies the price of the Deluxe Edition. The Digital Deluxe Edition also comes with 48-hour early access, meaning players can play through the campaign ahead of the initial release date. Here are all the bonuses you get for pre-ordering the standard edition:

  • Quokka Hologram

  • Boost Skeleton: Silver (LV1, LV2, LV3)

While it would be much more convenient to immediately receive all of your pre-order bonuses, it doesn’t work that way. The game starts 11 months after the events of the original game, and Sam has lived in isolation with Lou, trying to get home to their hideout. You will not have any gear on your person and can pick up a few ladders. Progress the story and return home to your bunker.

After a brief cutscene, Fragile convinces Sam to take a job heading for Mexico. You will have the cargo on your back and a few weapons to make the trip. Once you make the trip to Ciudad Del Norte, you will gain access to the following items:

  • MP Machine Gun (Level 1)
  • Patch 70: Quokka
  • Patch 71: Chiral Feline
  • Patch 72: Why Me?

The machine gun will be your de facto weapon, crossing borders and fighting bandits. Patches do not provide any gameplay benefits and are purely cosmetic items. To access the machine gun, you must have 120 Metal and 80 Resin to fabricate it. The Bokka, Boost, and Battle Skeletons will be unlocked after a few orders.
