Geodetic HSm PvE God Roll
Our choices for the Geodetic HSm PvE God Roll are:
Column | Trait |
---|---|
Blade | Jagged Edge |
Guard | Swordmaster’s Guard |
Column 3 Trait | Relentless Strikes |
Column 4 Trait | Whirlwind Blade |
Masterwork | Impact |
Geodetic HSm is an Adaptive frame sword, and that means its basic. It does fine in content where swords are needed, but there are better options. The best blade is Jagged Edge for the increased damage and Swordmaster’s Guard is good because it helps with charge speed. This is the perk combination that is typically best for any sword.
Geodetic can roll with the meta combo of Relentless Strikes and Whirlwind Blade. These perks basically make the sword do more damage and get more ammo just by swinging the sword. Another interesting combination is Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds which would make the sword pair well with Void builds.
Other great swords to substitute for this weapon in PvE include:
- The Other Half, from Dares of Eternity
- Thin Precipice, from Season of the Deep
Geodetic HSm PvP God Roll
Our choices for the Geodetic HSm PvP God Roll are:
Column | Trait |
---|---|
Blade | Honed Edge |
Guard | Swordmaster’s Guard |
Column 3 Trait | Dualist Trance |
Column 4 Trait | Assassin’s Blade |
Masterwork | Impact |
Swords aren’t terrible in PvP. But their perks really do not matter too much. Basically take anything that makes the sword more effective after a kill and you have a great sword for PvP. The sword will one hit in almost all cases so the Blade doesn’t matter at all really. While guarding can help in some situations, its much more effective to just kill the person shooting you, so again the guard doesn’t really matter as much.
Geodetic can roll with several traits that don’t really make that much of a difference in PvP. Dualist Trance and Assassin’s Blade are great options. That being said Destabilizing Rounds is an interesting choice allowing you to make any enemies near the guardian you just killed volatile. Swords are a niche choice, but not an ineffective one.
Other great swords to substitute for this weapon in PvP include:
- The Other Half, from Dares of Eternity
- Thin Precipice, from Season of the Deep
