Additionally, players who pre-order the game will gain early access starting June 5, allowing them to begin their journey on Arrakis ahead of the official release. However, there will be separate dedicated servers for those who start early vs those who play on June 10th.
Moreover, if you are looking to try out the game before pre-ordering, Funcom is hosting a large-scale beta test this weekend. It runs from Friday, May 9 through Monday, May 12, 2025. Access to the beta is not guaranteed, but the developers promise to be handing out “tens of thousands of beta keys.” To register, you must have Dune: Awakening on your Steam Wishlist. Additionally, you must go to the Dune: Awakening store page and click to Request Access.
