Stone Atronachs are rare enemies in The Elder Scrolls Online, but players can complete their daily endeavor using alternative methods.
Stone Atronachs are elemental enemies and the rarest naturally occurring Atronach variant in The Elder Scrolls Online. Finding these six-legged monsters can become a hassle, especially for the ‘Destroy 5 Stone Atronachs’ daily endeavor. Unlike most other Atronachs, they do not spawn in Craglorn or Reaper’s March, but are encountered in a handful of locations. However, there is another way to complete the ‘Destroy 5 Stone Atronachs’ quest without even looking for Stone Atronachs at all.
Where To Find Stone Atronachs in Elder Scrolls Online?
Here are all the known locations and dungeons where Stone Atronach will always spawn:
- Earthen Root Enclave: Two packs
- Aetherian Archives: Second boss
- Moongrave Fane: First boss, additional enemies during boss fights
- Final boss of Falkreath Hold: Summons Stone Atronachs multiple times
- Amenos Basin: Summoned by Rosara the Theurge
- Oathsworn Pit: Summoned by Nilborwen in Hard Mode
The health and difficulty of Stone Atronachs correspond to the challenge level of the location they spawn in. For example, regular Stone Atronachs of Falkreath Hold will be much harder to beat than those of Amenos Basin.

How To Complete ‘Destroy 5 Stone Atronachs’ Daily Endeavor in Elder Scrolls Online
Stone Atronachs are extremely rare enemies, making the daily endeavor to defeat five of them a troublesome challenge. The most straightforward way to complete the endeavor is to run through Moongrave Fane, and you will likely complete the endeavor before reaching the final boss. However, there is another way to complete the daily quickly, one which isn’t apparent at first.
The totems summoned by Miregaunts count toward the completion of the ‘Destroy 5 Stone Atronachs’ daily endeavor. Regular Miregaunts spawn two totems, meaning you can complete the daily endeavor by finding three Miregaunts. Regular Miregaunts are found abundantly throughout Blackwood. Here are some Blackwood locations where you can encounter them:
- East of the Plateau, between Sul-Xan encampment and the Plateau of the Traveler.
- South of the Vunalk Wayshrine, close to a dilapidated Argonian building.
- To the east of the Ayleid Well, just south of Glenbridge.
- East of The Silent Halls public dungeon, near a small pool.
- South of Vunalk Wayshrine, around the eastern edge of the marshes.
Enemies that count toward completing the ‘Destroy 5 Stone Atronachs’ daily endeavor are totems summoned by Miregaunts, Stone Husks, Defense Prism crystals, and Moongrave Sentinels.
