While waiting for the release of GTA 6 next year, fans are not just discussing its single-player experience but also its possible online component. The Grand Theft Auto franchise has evolved from more than just a story campaign to a successful online RPG title. While the current GTA 5 Online is widely loved by fans for its rich role-playing offerings, there is always something that can be improved.
With that said, here are some of the changes we would love to see for a potential GTA 6 Online.

Top 5 Improvements We Would Love To See in GTA 6 Online
Better Anti-Cheat / Anti-Griefing Systems

One of the most persistent complaints from GTA Online players is the large number of users who exploit the game to gain an unfair advantage. Sometimes, these hackers do it just to mess with other players, which ruins the overall gameplay experience for those affected.
The current BattleEye anti-cheat system is doing a decent job of catching most of the players who use exploits. However, there are still issues with players intentionally flooding public lobbies with bots to crash the server and kick players out of the session. Not to mention the false positives that some players encounter, locking them out of their accounts despite not using cheats. Hopefully, GTA 6 Online will address issues that its predecessor could not.
More Game Economy Balance

GTA Online currently has a major issue with economic inflation. Why does an orange hoodie cost $30,500 in in-game cash? To be fair, earning money is quite easy once you get past the early stages of the game. In fact, there are a lot of passive income properties you can buy, allowing you to earn cash while doing nothing.
However, once you reach the later stages, money almost loses its value. You will be swimming in cash with no reason to grind just to buy something. You simply wait for the next update and immediately purchase new properties or shiny vehicles.
As an online service, inflation is inevitable in GTA 6 Online, especially if Rockstar Games decides to sell credits for real money. But there are ways to reduce the rate of inflation. Perhaps there could be higher upkeep costs, forcing players to decide whether they really want to keep a property or sell it for alternatives. Alternatively, the payouts can be balanced while still remaining rewarding.
Better Wanted Level System

The AI for the cops in GTA Online is one of the aspects that players have often discussed in the community. If you lightly bump your car into a police vehicle, you immediately get shot at or arrested. This can be annoying if you only want to reach your destination as quickly as possible. On top of that, escaping the law is not too difficult when you have all the necessary tools, unless you have limitations due to a mission or challenge.
Perhaps GTA 6 Online can find a good balance between realism and fairness. Imagine receiving only a warning or a fine for minor infractions. However, things should get serious when you pull off a heist, with roadblocks, drones, or cops trying to negotiate with you at higher wanted levels. Players need a law enforcement system that provides a challenge, not an annoyance.

More Accessible Buildings

The Grand Theft Auto franchise prides itself on open-world exploration. However, despite the large number of structures present in GTA Online, only a few are accessible. Most buildings exist only for decorative purposes.
Given how technology has evolved, perhaps it’s time for Rockstar Games to add more accessible buildings in GTA 6 Online. They don’t need to serve a big purpose, but it would be a nice incentive to explore and see what you might discover.
More Unique Mission Types

GTA Online has no shortage of missions and side hustles to participate in. However, if you look closer, most of them follow the same concept. The overused fetch and escort quests are among the gameplay mechanics that players have often complained about.
Rockstar Games needs to add more creative missions in GTA 6 Online. Missions should feel unique and fun, rather than just being another way to earn money quickly. This would give players more reasons to play them for enjoyment instead of forcing themselves into an endless grind like the Cayo Perico Heist.
