Learn how to link your WB Games and Steam accounts in Hogwarts Legacy to unlock exclusive rewards and wallpaper.
Want a smoother Hogwarts Legacy experience? Connecting your WB Games and Steam accounts makes it easier to bring your Harry Potter Fan Club details into the game. You’ll get sorted into your house, receive your wand, and even unlock exclusive rewards.
Let’s go step by step!
Getting Everything Ready
Before linking accounts, make sure you have:
- A WB Games account
- A Harry Potter Fan Club account
- A Steam account (since you’ll be playing on Steam)
If you don’t have any of these, create them first. It only takes a few minutes!
How To Connect Your Harry Potter Fan Club to WB Games
- Visit the Hogwarts Legacy Account Linking Page: Log in with your Harry Potter Fan Club account or create one if needed.
- Get Sorted into Your House: Click “Get Sorted Now” and complete the sorting quiz. Once done, press “Let’s Go!” to move forward.
- Discover Your Wand: Select “Discover Your Wand” and finish the Wand Ceremony Quiz. Hit “Let’s Go!” again to continue.
- Connect to WB Games: Click “Go to WB Games” and sign in to your WB Games account (or create one if you haven’t already).
- Link Your Steam Account: Go to the Connections tab and link your Steam account where you plan to play Hogwarts Legacy. This will streamline your experience when you launch the game for the first time.
- Verify the Connection: To ensure the accounts are linked:
- Open Hogwarts Legacy.
- Go to Settings.
- Switch to the last tab, User Interface Options.
- Select WB Games Account.
- A pop-up should confirm your successful linking.
- If a code appears, redo the linking process.
- Download Exclusive Wallpaper: Return to the Harry Potter site and click Refresh to unlock and download an exclusive Hogwarts Legacy wallpaper.
Rewards You Get for Linking Your Accounts
By completing this process, you’ll receive:

These items will be available in the game after you receive your Field Guide.
How To Equip Your Rewards
- Open the Gear menu in Hogwarts Legacy.
- Hover over Facewear or Cloaks and Robes.
- Press “Change Appearance”.
- Select your new items and enjoy your exclusive gear.
Additional Details
- Your sorted Hogwarts House will be your default choice, but you can change it before the end of the sorting ceremony.
- Patronus does NOT carry over into the game.
- If you haven’t created a Harry Potter Fan Club account yet, you can still do so to unlock these rewards.
