You learn about the one druid who was missing when you enter the Emerald Grove. You need to make your way to the Goblin camp to bring back the missing druid, Halsin. Open your map to see a marker showing you where to go ahead. Use a fast travel technique to Emerald Grove Environs. You can find the Halsin in the Worg Pens area (X: 393, Y: -60) of the Shattered Sanctum. This area is in the interior area of the Goblin Camp. Complete the Raid the Grove quest to complete this quest.

Enter Goblin Camp

Travel west from the Druids’ Grove and pass through the stone bridge. You will find yourself in a small village. The Goblin camp is further west from here, so you can fight or make your way into the village. The other way to reach the camp is by letting go of the Goblin Sazza from the makeshift prison in Druids’ Grove. You can follow the quest marker on him and safely enter the camp without being caught. However, if you do not free the Goblin Sazza, then you need to talk to the Goblins guarding the camp to enter.

 2 Poison Mine and 1 Blast Mine are guarding the path to this entrance. Your party will be at the southeast corner of the Shattered Sanctum while entering this way.

The Cracked Wall

Except for piercing and force, the wall is an object with 22 Hit Points, Sturdy, and immunity to all damage types. You can use the Smokepowder Bombs or Eldritch Blast to break this wall as the items, spells, and abilities are a handful here. Use a Silence spell on the sleeping guards close to the wall. This covers a noise and a confrontation can be avoided. Selûnite Outpost in the Underdark is the fourth entrance to the temple. However, the door is inaccessible externally. You need to use Stone Discs or the wall Lever to open it from inside the Shattered Sanctum first.

Get Halsin Free

Approach the ornate door at the Eastern Side of Shattered Sanctum (X:342, Y:32), allowing you to enter the Worg Pens. The party member can offend the Goblins to get to the Worg Pens. Pick-pocketing or completing Asking the Goblin Priestess for Help quest allows you to offend the Goblins. Once your party member is captured, the Goblins take him to the Worg Pens, so here the party member can break the jail and find Halsin. You will learn that Halsin is disguised in his bear wildshape and is harassed by Goblins. You can use Speak with Animals spells to see him in his animal form. Priestess Gut is located in front of the giant throne immediately north of the front entrance. You get a chance to brand the party with the Brand of the Absolute. She recognizes you as a ‘true soul’ and invites you to her chamber. Your party will wait outside of her chamber. You will be knocked out when drink the solution Gut and you’ll be a cage. You need to fight Gut and her Ogre and an opportunity to break free. Maintain your strength when the Gut comes to see you the next day in the morning.

An unknown assassin will fight with her and the Ogre, making this the best way to kill the Gut without making any noise or raising any alarm. Make your way towards the stairs on the left side of the prison and assemble your allies to get through the north of the sanctum to encounter Dror Ragzlin.

Killing the Goblin Leader, Dror Ragzlin

The room is filled with Goblins, a dead Mind Flayer, and a hobGoblin, Dror Ragzlin himself. Dror Ragzlin allows you to explore the area freely. The fight will be intense and every person in that room will turn on you and will attack you. Use the explosive barrels to deal with these enemies. Move to the ladders and use this high-ground opportunity to attack them from a safe distance. Launch a sneak attack on Dror Ragzlin and use multiple explosive barrels to defeat the Dror Ragzlin. The turn-based mode allows you to deal with this leader more effectively.

Maintain your strongest character near one of the ladders, so they can kill enemies off as they try to climb to you. This is the best way to kill enemies with low health. If one of your allies is rogue, then you and your ally can rain arrows down on the enemies to make quick work. Killing his weaker soldiers ensures that you will receive fewer attacks as Dror Ragzlin himself is pretty strong. Use any AoE spells or throwables to defeat him fast. You can revive some of your fallen characters to keep them at 1 health. The height advantage allows you to force the enemy to waste several attacks.

Take Dror Ragzlin’s key and open the door behind his throne after winning the intense fight. The door will lead you to the large pile of treasure, containing gold, gems, a piece of infernal iron, and gear pieces. The gear pieces include the Gloves of the Growling Underdog, Springstep Boots, and the Amulet of Selune’s Chosen. You can take a long rest as the final leader, Minthara isn’t too difficult to kill.

Eliminate the Scrying Eye before defeating Minthara or else the whole camp will be alerted. After defeating it, you need to deal with the Minthara and her minions. The other two leaders can still be dealt with stealthily. She can be recruited as a Companion in Moonrise Towers in Act Two once you knock her out with non-lethal melee attacks. You can find her just east of Dror Ragzlin’s chamber. Minthara has few allies around, so use the rafters in Dror Ragzlin’s room to get to Minthara’s position. We recommend you push her into one of the pits near her dwelling to finish her off.

Return to the Worg Pens

Make your way back to the Worg Pens and report him about the leaders’ defeat. He will thank you and tell you about the strange things about the Absolutists at Moonrise Towers.
