The Brewing Stand is one of the most powerful tools you can create in Minecraft and ramps up the survival experience to a new level. Whether you’re looking to deal more damage for a tough boss fight, want to explore the map faster, or regenerate health, the brewing stand opens up a whole new layer of gameplay with the potions it can create.

Brewing Stand Crafting Ingredients

To create a brewing stand, you’ll need the following:

  • Blaze Rod x 1
  • Cobblestone x 3

How to get them:

  • Blaze Rod: Found by defeating Blazes in Nether Fortresses.
  • Cobblestone: Easily gathered by mining stone with any pickaxe.

Open your crafting table and follow this layout on the crafting grid:

  • Middle row: Place the Blaze Rod in the center slot.
  • Bottom row: Fill all three slots with cobblestone.

Tips:

  • You can use any stone-tier block like blackstone or cobbled deepslate instead of cobblestone.
  • You can change the brewing stand’s name by placing it on an anvil
  • Placing a brewing stand near an unemployed villager will turn it into a cleric.
