While traversing the Ragnarok map, you will likely encounter dangerous predators like Spino and Giganotosaurus. Surviving these threats alone can be challenging unless you have a reliable companion mount. Ankylosaurus is one of the iconic and powerful dinosaur species that roam around the Ragnarok map.
Boasting a massive HP, it serves as a great tank during combat. Additionally, it also deals devastating AoE attacks with its tail club, which acts as its primary strength. Besides combat, taming an Ankylosaurus also helps you to effectively farm a variety of resources such as Metal, Crystal, Obsidian, and Flint. Where To Find Ankylosaurus in Ark Ragnarok Ascended
The Ankylosaurus spawns in multiple spots throughout the map. The following are some of the notable and reliable locations to find Ankylosaurus:
- The island at the far east of the map, around coordinates (49.1, 88.2), contains several Ankylosaurus. The island also features Doedicurus, another great mount.
- Directly north of the previous island, you will find another island. It is located at the far northeast of the map. Check along the shoreline of the Gulf, especially near (19, 87.7), to spot Ankylosaurus.
- Another reliable spot is the region to the northwest of the volcano biome. Head to coordinates (26.9, 50.5) and you can spot multiple Ankylosaurus roaming around the area.
- You also have a good chance to spot several Ankylosaurus on the island, located west of the desert biome at coordinates (83.1, 40.2).
Regular Kibble, Fresh Barley, Fresh Wheat, Soybean, and Berries are some of the preferred foods of Ankylosaurus that you can use to tame it effectively.
