Ark Ragnarok Ascended’s map is a thriving ecosystem with tons of wildlife. The creatures here range from small sheep and fish to mythical Wyverns and badass dinosaurs. Each creature has its own place in this thriving ecosystem, and the same is true for the Bison.
The Bison are large creatures that patrol the grassy lands of Ark Ragnarok Ascended’s map. Taming the Bison allows you to ride them like a badass Plains Native American warrior. More than just the badassery, taming a Bison gives you access to their milk, which you can then feed to creatures such as the Wyvern.

Where To Find Bison in Ark Ragnarok Ascended?
To find the Bison in Ark Ragnarok Ascended, make your way to the Highland area of the game and toward its northeastern end. For the exact location, head over to Latitude 19.7, Longitude 82.6 on the map.
The coordinates are only meant to give you a sense of direction and do not pinpoint the exact location of the Bison. As you approach these coordinates, you’ll see both an Obelisk and a lighthouse in the distance. The whole area is an open grass field, and the Bison roam around here. Explore the grassy lands thoroughly, and you’ll find a herd of Bison walking about.
Now, if you’re seeking a male or female Bison in particular, you’ll need to take a look at the horns of the creature. The male Bison have much larger horns than the females and also lack the capability to produce milk. If milk is why you’re looking for a Bison, the female Bison is the one you need to tame.

Once you’ve identified the Bison you wish to tame, you’ll need to use a tranq dart to put the giant creature to sleep. The creature will not go down in one hit, and you’ll have to hit it with several darts to knock it out. We recommend doing so discreetly, as taking the Bison head-on is a good way to get impaled by its giant horns.
