Ark Ragnarok Ascended has a ton of creatures you can tame. While a chunk of them are harmless and easy to tame, most of them are out for blood. But even among these bloodthirsty creatures, the Giganotosaurus is a rabid standout.
The Giganotosaurus is one of the apex predators of the land in Ark Ragnarok Ascended. This giant lizard is one of the most aggressive creatures in the game and can absolutely decimate you if you take it for granted. Furthermore, even after you tame it, you’re still vulnerable to the creature’s anger tantrums, during which it could attack you.
Despite all the fuss, the Giganotosaurus is still very much an apex predator. The creature deals a massive 500 damage per bite, and more than that, it inflicts the Gnashed status effect. This powerful status effect cuts down 5 percent of the target’s total health for 10 seconds.

Where To Find Giganotosaurus in Ark Ragnarok Ascended?

The Giganotosaurus spawns in a couple of areas on the map in Ark Ragnarok Ascended. The first area where you can find it is at (Latitude 20.9, Longitude 72.1). This is a huge open field, and you’re likely to find two Giganotosauruses here. If you manage to anger both of them at the same time, you’re in for a tough ride. So, approach this one carefully.
If you stand in the middle of the aforementioned field and then move right toward the lighthouse in the distance, you’ll find an underpass below. This is where you’ll find a lone Giganotosaurus patrolling. For exact coordinates, head to (Latitude 21.8, Longitude 80.6).
The final area where you can find these apex predators is at (Latitude 64.1, Longitude 75.1). This is in the middle of the desert and is probably the safest area to find a lone Giganotosaurus.
